Fabulous Sunday roast 😀 Fabulous Sunday lunch. Loads of fresh vegetables and all the extras you could wish for! We were the only two people eating which was a shame as there was no atmosphere. Fantastic Evening Stayed at Wychnor country club hotel to celebrate a friend's belated birthday. We ate not in the main restaurant but a smaller room, which we must say all the bar and restaurant is very tastefully decorated, giving out a calm and pleasant feeling. We could not fault anything from Kevin and his friendly team, the food was fresh tasty and delicious, wish we lived nearer, would definitely visit more often. Excellent Sunday lunch My husband and I enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch at Somervills restaurant. The food was excellent, generous portions, great selection of vegetables and it tasted fab. The staff were lovely and the service was great, it’s definitely worth a visit. A gem in the middle of nowhere!! This place is absolutely off the scale the food is fantastic we had the Sunday lunch and it was excellent value for money and it tasted superb. Food is definitely a 10/10 and the service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and polite my partner had the vegetarian option and the front of house came and asked if she would like a separate bowl of vegetables as it normally comes with pancetta in it which she agreed too the sides with the meals was a fantastic selection and great value. Bar food decent We ate in the bar from the bar menu, the main restaurant being shut on the evening we wanted to eat. The food was good, I’d eat the food again. Having been staying at Wychnor Park for over 25 years it’s nice to see a restaurant back. The only thing that lets this place down is being subjected to the TV playing “GB news”, a channel famed for its extremist views. Both we and the table next to us discussed that it wasn’t the most welcoming thing to have looming over you whilst you eat. Highly Recommend! We are Members staying onsite. Used Somervills for Bar lunch Menu and an Evening Meal in the Restaurant. Fabulous food and cheerful efficient service. Great restaurant Had a delicious meal. The steak and ale pie was so tasty you didn't want it to end but the lemon meringue pie was to die for. The best I have ever had. Definitely 100% recommend this restaurant. Staff are very friendly and make you feel so welcome. Just wish I lived nearer so could go more often.
